The Classic

The Classic Helmet - how it all began. This very popular helmet has been endorsed and acclaimed by warbird, classic and sport aviators the world over. Coming in a choice of five leather options. It is upgradeable to the Warbird model and comes with an optional peak and neck nape. A Campbell Original Hard Shell Leather Flying Helmet, the choice of discerning aviators worldwide.
The Warbird
The Ace pilot's signature
Our Warbird helmet, includes all the features of The Classic helmet as well as the addition of the very useful fully adjustable leather facemask with its integrated microphone. Easily interchanged to mic boom or face mask with the additional boom mounted microphone provided. Ideal for open cockpit aircraft, eliminating wind buffet, engine and cockpit noise. Greatly reduces element exposure whilst significantly increases comfort levels.
The Pacific
Superbly Crafted Premium Model
This superbly crafted helmet, based on the WWII US AN-H-15 helmet. It features an all over beige leather, authentic dark green mask, tan straps and reinforced chin straps. Finished with striking black ear domes, flick down peak, cut-away rear neck line, with rolled finished top stitch edges. It comes with an additional microphone for easy change from mask to boom.
The Vintage
A Touch of Class
A stunning helmet with its distinctive air of elegance. Featuring the beige leather, with maroon or tan trim options and a reinforced chin strap, with the rolled finished top stitch edges. Matching beige or antique brass goggles complete the picture. This helmet works its magic recreating the adventure, excitement and romance of aviation whilst providing outstanding performance.

All helmets come with the following:

  • Hand laid lightweight kevlar and carbon fibre high impact shell with a contoured customized fit based on your head measurements, with energy absorbing linings.
  • Genuine leather outer in a choice of antique brown, finished brown, white, beige and black. Other custom options may be available on request.
  • Quality US customised impedence switchable avionics with a 12" safety egress cord which plugs into a 6' lead.
  • Two microphone options - a non-amplified dynamic and an amplified electret.
  • Oregon Aero soft seal ear covers.
  • Halycon flying goggles in either split or oval lens. A range of different pad and frame colour schemes to choose from.
  • Personalised serial numbered brass name plate.
  • Neat front strap or optional flick down peak
  • Optional fold down neck nape. Completing the helmet kit - a sturdy canvas helmet bag, a 100% NZ merino wool flying scarf, leather wax dressing, a logo embroidered cap.
